Tribute

The spirit of life can never be vanquished. After the TSUNAMI in Sri Lanka this small village on the coastal side was completely devastated. The place was famous for its mask making activity. On my visit to the place after a short time I found that the activity had started as usual. No doubt the people there were making masks but were themselves wearing masks of calmness and courage on their face behind which was all the pain and agony hidden. The message was ‘LIFE GOES ON JUST WEAR THE MASKS’. This painting is TRIBUTE to them.
